The collection is devoted to the great Armenian poet and bard Sayat-Nova (born Harutyun Sayatyan; 1712/1722 – 22 September 1795). It consists of three volumes. The first book covers Sayat-Nova’s life and activity. The second book comprises a selection of 47 compositions of Sayat-Nova. The third book includes Sayat-Nova's works in Turkish and Georgian languages. Two CDs are attached to the collection. One CD includes 58 songs by Sayat-Nova, performed by Shara Talyan and other singers. The other CD includes the poetry of Sayat-Nova, read by Babken Nersisyan and other best Armenian reciters. The collection will decorate the home library and CD collection of each Armenian.
